Ythogtha - Fix Me
Let it be that state of manyhood bound and loathing. So with thy all; thou hast no right but to do what thy will.
Do that, and no other shall say nay.
For pure will, unassuaged of purpose, delivered from the lust of result, is every way perfect.
- Liber AL vel Legis; I;42-44
Filthy welding hands all the time.
The sublime in philosophy and art.
I cut and compiled a few different paragraphs, quotes and passages out of a text I’m reading on the idea/phenomena of the sublime, and the philosophy behind the experience of the unattainable, partially relating to art (but more relating to beauty and the overwhelming nature of.. nature). I thought these few particular passages were profound enough to want to share them!
Here’s the scan. If you decide to read it write back to me with your thoughts.
